My name is David Hang-Chiang Tay.
I was taught about the Small Catechism of Dr. Martin Luther
by Rev Tse Dao Chuen and
was baptised
by Rev. John Nelson at the
Queenstown Lutheran Church in 1966.
My family and I attend the Sunday Worship Service at
the Bedok Lutheran Church and
Queenstown Lutheran Church on alternate Sunday. We also visit
the Thai Good News Centre occasionally.
When I was young, I wished to be a teacher, and later desired to be a doctor. I never imagined that I would be a computer personnel for almost my working-life-long. God also gave me an opportunity to be a missionary for three years. During those three years, God made me realise that by exchanging my own agenda for his, my life produced some amazing, God-glorifying results. When I submitted to his direction, his mercy surrounded me. By walking in the way he wanted me to go, he gave me the precious gift - my son Solomon. I am fortunate that I am living in a country where I have the opportunity to listen to the Gospel. May all who can hear, listen to the Gospel when there is an opportunity. |
