2 June 2008
We were at the Terminal Three which was in operation from 29 February. I initially planned to take an airport bus to go to Zhong An Hotel. As Steve, Julin, Chun Kit and Yang Kai were also staying in the same hotel, I kept them accompany to travel by taxi. Since we had many pieces of luggage, we finally took a minibus. When we got to the highway, there was a toll station which started to operate from 25 March. I ever stayed in Zhong An Hotel with Hui Laoshi three years ago. I liked the cleanliness of the guestroom and good service provided; therefore I chose to stay here again. |

After taking our lunch, Steve and three other friends went for
window-shopping. I went back to the hotel as I had to meet
my friend Yaya. I gave Yaya a call, she asked me to take a rest
and she would visit me in an hour's time.
Yaya took leave and visited me around 4 p.m. I gave Yaya a cookbook which I kept for many years. She was overjoyed to have it. I brought her some VCD of Teochew Opera by Singapore Troupe. I bought a package of Henan famous product Red Date for her as she liked cooking. I also gave her some wheat which was given by Xue Wen's mother in Henan. She was touch when I handed over to her a box of mask which I hand carried from Singapore to Henan and then Beijing. Yaya had to attend a training course on the following day and she could not accompany me to visit places of interest. I sent her to the subway station after about an hour's chat. |

I went back to hotel to view the guest books of my website.
In the evening, I went shopping after dinner.
I bought some local product I liked and also some playing cards.
The Beijing railway station was under maintenance. There were as usual crowds here and there as the Subway Beijing Station was also around there. I was in Beijing in July 2005. Beijing, here I came again! |
