It was when I was in low spirited, struggled for survival or eagerly
seek for help, and I wrote to Mother Mary.If you find the story seemed familiar, please don't assume we are talking about you. Just take it as a story. Dear Mother, It was three months ago, on the 16th January, when I told you my problems in my work, I have been transferred out of that working place. On 16th April, it was the last day that I worked for my Systems Manager, Nancy, and with my lovely colleagues. After telling you my problems, I stood for more problems and difficulties I faced. I understand that there is no point to win an argument. My Systems Manager kept on turning down my works. My colleagues asked me to make a report to my head office, I did not do so. They told me it was obviously for her treatment to me and her pet, my junior colleague. I understand that when a person likes another person, he can even get the moon for his beloved. I told my Systems Manager that if she does not like me to work for her, she can transfer me out. But she did not transfer me out because she needed me. Two weeks ago, my Personnel Manager from head office told her that the company wants to send me to work for a new client, a Government Department. When she told me this news, I agreed to be transferred. Mother, although it is hard to leave my colleagues and the client, I have to look after myself. Many of my colleagues and friends from the client's company were not happy, but I have to leave them. From 19th April, I will be working with another senior officer, Mr. Chan, at the Inland Revenue Department. Mother, please help me. I need to have the award and recognition that I should get few months ago from my company. My company needs more managerial staff and I was graduated from Singapore Institute of Management in Management Studies in 1980. I hope I will be promoted after I work in the new environment.
