The Guest Speaker Dr. Christopher Lee talked about 《Christ Who Gave His All for Me》based on the Bible Hebrews 4:14-16.

The three verses of the Bible are:
14 We have a great high priest who has gone to live with God in heaven. He is Jesus the Son of God. So let us continue to express our faith in him.
15 Jesus, our high priest, is able to understand our weaknesses. When Jesus lived on earth, he was tempted in every way. He was tempted in the same ways we are tempted, but he never sinned.
16 With Jesus as our high priest, we can feel free to come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we receive mercy and kindness to help us when we need it.

The key points of the speech included
* Christ redeemed our sin.
* Christ gives us a new identity.
* Christ sympathizes with us.
* Christ gives us timely help.

Dr. Lee encouraged us to hold firmly our faith, dare to be different.

I was much influenced in character by my father from young. I became a Christian when I was 19 years old. The teaching from a number of good pastors exerted an edifying influence on my personal development. Hence, I have a very strong belief of loving my family.

I have lived according to my belief for years. I took family above everything except God and we have lived a peaceful life.

After taking part in the activities of a Community Services Centre, I gradually became a volunteer as my nature was to be helpful to others. Besides, I wished to serve God by looking for the lost sheep. But I realised that I was been harassed at the end of year 2012. Although I tried very hard to seek help and it was helpless. I determinedly left the Centre in October 2014.

Praise the Lord! During the very difficult months, I did not give in. I was very firm in my faith. I refused to go along with the evil persons.

Thanks my father setting me a good example. Thanks those pastors giving me a lot of good teachings.
The teachings and influences have made me dare to be different. I rather die than surrender (寧死不屈)!
