Humble vs. Boastful
Spiritual Health

When I arrived at the Church in Chiang Rai, the neighbour Grandma Orlar Thai came to the Church too. It was around Christmas 2014. Grandma told me it was cold.

I showed and helped grandma to keep out the cold using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) massage. Pastor Vilai said that she read my post on the Facebook and knew that I conducted the Keep Fit Exercise session in Singapore.
I told her that I planned to conduct a session for our Chiang Rai Church members. But our Singaporean missionary Joseph told me that it was not necessary. He said that the elderly were strong.
Pastor Vilai requested me to share some knowledge of TCM massage with the members when we had our seminar the following day.

When I conducted the session with the class in Singapore, I always reminded the class to take care of the spiritual health besides physical health. I told the class to be happy and not to blame people.
Other than looking after our physical health, it is important to look into our spiritual health.

God gives everyone a different spiritual gift. What you can do, others may not able to do it. What others are capable, you may not the same. We should not think that we are good in everything, we are more capable than others. We should not stop others who can contribute their best.

Weeks before I came to Chiang Rai, I frankly said out what area I could contribute. I hoped to do my best as I traveled from thousand miles away. There is nothing can be boasted of.

We have to serve God with all our heart. We have to be humble. We have to be a useful instrument for God to use.

Although I got the wrong information and did not bring my note and materials of TCM massage, I managed to take down some notes when I was back to hotel that evening. When I shared with the Church members on TCM massage the following day, they were very keen to learn.

To be humble, God will be glad and people will be close to you.
To boastful, you will be lonely.
