Keep Fit @ the Garden
Active Aging

Ayer Rajah Active Aging Committee organised an outing to Jurong Japanese Garden on 29th March 2014 morning. It was for the elderly staying in Teban Gardens and Padan Gardens.

We had our Keep Fit Exercise at the Puming Court (普明閣). The exercise consisted the basic ten steps of that of our class at Residents' Committee Zone 3. The Exercise was held on every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. We started it in October 2011. Participants came and left. We have about 20 persons at the recent session.

After the exercise, two of the regular participants performed a magic show. That was to demonstrate the benefit of regularly rubbing our fingers. Followed that, we had a competition on that simple magic show. Although many of them were with us the first time, they did well and got their lovely prizes.

We had a simple meal before heading home.

Thank you very much Kathleem for organising the outing.
Thanks the committee members and volunteers who made the outing a joyful event for the elderly.
