When we attended the Sunday service at Bedok Lutheran Church two days ago, we updated and recorded our attendance on the name list prepared by the Church. We have to do so till the end of July. It was for H1N1 monitoring.

When I went to the ElderCare Centre yesterday to provide the massage treatment to the elders, the staff took my temperature too.
Those elders who received the massage treatment came to the room when their term came. Previously they came together and waited in the room.

The schools have instructed the teachers and students to stay at home for 7 days if they came back from the flu affected countries. Therefore there were about 10,000 teachers and students absent from class yesterday when the new school term commenced.

I went to attend the Teochew Opera class yesterday evening. I took bus and train. There were crowds everywhere, in the bus and train, in the market and shops. I did not see anyone putting on mask.

The experience of fear when SARS came to Singapore in 2003 did not repeat.
We take good care of our health and life goes on as usual.
