Solomon dropped his camera when he went photography
at the end of March. The lens of the $1,700 camera
was damaged.
I did not send his camera for repair. I did not buy
any lens for him. He stopped taking photograph.
I reminded him to take good care of the camera when I
bought it for him. At that time, my most expensive
camera was only $500.
About three months later, he asked me to go to a
camera shop to look for lens. He has collected the
money of the Chinese New Year ang-bao and some saving
of his pocket money. It was about two hundred dollars.
We went to Sim Lim Square and could not get what he wanted.
Then we went to Peninsula Plaza. He got the lens he wished
to have. I gave him a hundred dollars to make up enough
for him to buy that lens. The shop-keeper recommended him
other camera accessories. He told the shop-keeper that
let him save enough money first.
He has experienced that he needed to really take good care
of what he owned. He could not go for any photography
outing for almost three months.
The pictures below were taken on 27 July with his new lens.
We spent a good Sunday afternoon taking photographs.
