IT Show Singapore 2007
8th - 11th March 2007

Although I anticipated to seeing a large crowd of visitors before I went to the IT (Information Technology) Show Singapore 2007, I never expected that it was out of my imagination. My goodness!

It was on Saturday, 10th March 2007. After coming out of the City Hall MRT Station, I was waiting for a free shuttle service ride to Suntec City Exhibition Centre. The bus was fully packed. When approaching Suntec City, we were stuck in the traffic jam for more than ten minutes.

At the lobby of the Suntec City Exhibition Centre, all escalators were full of people.
After moving up to the level 4 Exhibition Hall, I saw many people. Although I used to see crowds of people at this kind of exhibitions, it seemed that the visitors were much more than the previous years.

Entering the Exhibition Hall, I could not have a chance to see the exhibits. The walkway was very wide, but the crowd was too large. I decided to visit the booths of Olympus and Starhub. As we switched to using Olympus digital cameras four years ago, I just wanted to see its latest product. We have subscribed the MaxOnline Internet and SCV programs for many years and I would like to find out more on the upgrade promotion offered. At the Starhub booth, I saw the long queue of people and decided to check it out at other time.

At the level 6 Exhibition Hall, it was also full of visitors. I could hardly go near to the exhibitors' booths as people at the walkway just keep flowing without stopping.

After spending almost two hours walking through the Level 4 and Level 6 Exhibition Halls, I hardly went close to the booths I wanted to. I just took some pictures of the crowds.

We could find the latest and most comprehensive range of exhibits from Digital & Video Cameras, Desktops, Notebooks, MP3 / MP4 Players, LCD TVs, Plasmas, Printers, Games & Consoles, PDAs and Smart Phone, Wireless Broadband, Projectors, Networking Products, Handphones, Toners/Cartridges, Media, Home and mobile Entertainment, Digital Lifestyle Products, Multimedia, Peripherals, Storage Solutions, Surveillance & Security Solutions, Software, Bluetooth Products, Educational Software, IT Training Courses, Business Applications, Enterprise Solutions, Consumer Electronics to a plethora of accessories.

More than 718,000 people visited the four-day IT Show 2007. It was the highest attendance in its 16-year history.
