It is the first Monday of the one-week school holiday.

Solomon did not wake up very late because he was excited to buy a swivelchair for himself. Both he and myself were using swivelchairs when we used our computers. My chair has been worn-out for many months. The back of his chair was broken a few weeks ago.

Solomon did not want to get a new swivelchair until he read the product catalogue from IKEA. As requested by him, we decided to go to IKEA and buy us new chairs this morning.

We went to the IKEA @ Alexandra in the morning.
After taking our breakfast at IKEA Cafe, we took our time looking for the chair that Solomon wanted and whatever goods his mother might be interested in.

Solomon likes to visit IKEA Store @ Alexandra. He likes to assemble furniture. We bought a number of shelving units at the end of last year. Solomon was happy to assemble them and after that I had to spend a lot of effort to re-arrange our messy storeroom. We also bought a television bench that was assembled by Solomon.

While looking at the different types of chair, Solomon was very keen in getting the swivelchair priced at $128. I told him that the chair is for the company director, but he insisted that he should get it. As for me, I just wanted to get a simple chair that priced at $39. Solomon might feel bad that the prices of the two chairs were very much different. He kept persuading me to get the one that priced at $98. So, the price would not be very much different from his.

He was very much cheerful when I finally agreed with him. Although the items we bought were heavy, he helped to push the trolley. After taking the lift to the carpark, he helped to carry them into the car. On the way home, he was full of joy.

When we were back home, Solomon spent time and effort to assemble the chairs. Finally, he sat on his new Director's Chair with satisfaction.

He did the assembly of his chair with great interest and finally enjoyed sitting on it.
