Some members from the Church went and assisted in the programme and preparation of foods for the celebration.

The children staying on the mountain might not have a chance to attend the Christmas Celebration held in the Church in Sikhio Town. The Christmas Celebrations by churches were already over on 26 December. It was on Saturday and the mothers could bring their children to the party.。

The children were happy to have an opportunity to gather together in singing and playing games.

We had the traditional Thai noodle for lunch. I worked in Thai Good News Centre (TGNC) in Singapore more than 20 years ago. The girls who came and studied English usually arrived at the Centre early. They took turn to prepare lunch and brought to the Centre. They asked me to join them taking the noodle. They told me that their husbands asked them to cook more so that could ask Teacher David to eat together. I was glad to enjoy their loving care. The Singaporean husbands ever visited our Centre and chatted with me. Hence, they wished that by giving meal might help me to save some money.

Mariem started to share the Christmas story with the children after lunch.
The children paid much attention. When I brought my son to attend Sunday Worship Service when he was young, he remembered what the pastors preached.

Quiz time started after the Christmas story-telling.
From the answer of the children at the Quiz time, I understood that the children paying attention and understanding the story well.
When the children receiving the prizes from Pastor Mariem, I understood they were brought up with good education, either from school, family or their environment.
Seeing the way and manner the Thai children receiving the prizes, our children especially the young adults needed to learn from them.

I learned a lot of theories and methods in proclaiming the Good News when I did my one-year studies in Bible College. Today, at the retired Pastor Mariem's Christmas party, the first time that I had learnt something new.

Praise the Lord for the guidance. Thank you God for blessing me with wisdom and understanding.
