We went to Thailand in May 1991 for a mission study trip.
When we were in Ubon, sometimes Pastor Magne would bring us to visit
the villagers. Sometimes another missionary sister would bring us.
One day, when the missionary sister brought us to visit a church member, a housewife. The housewife told us about her illness. Then we prayed and asked God to heal her.
After the prayer, the missionary sister asked me, "Do you have any word to say to this sister?"
When we went back to the Church, the missionary sister asked, "Do you understand tongues?"
Our missionaries from Norway and Finland pray in tongues.
Last year when I attended a Cell Group meeting, a Christian asked me, "Do you speak tongues?"
When I was with the Thai Good News Centre 30 years ago, one of our volunteers
always wanted to lay hand on me and to pray that I could speak tongues.
I told him frankly that I knew what gift God blessed me.
I would make use of God's gift to help others.
