Eight of us travelled to Kluay Nam Thai Church by YWCA van after breakfast. We had a prayer with Pastor Visanukorn.

There was a day nursery in the Church called Kluay Nam Thai Day Nursery. Anita Chan from Hong Kong Lutheran Church served in the Day Nursery.

Meeting with Lutheran Mission in Thailand (LMT) Kjell. He shared with us the information of LMT.
Two Norwegian families started work in Bangkok in 1975. The work carried out in north Thailand, near Cambodia and Laos. But the work closed because it was weak. Mission work started in 1976.
Finland started work in big cities Bangkok in 1978.

The first church Kluay Nam Thai and office were started in 1977. In the same year, Peace Lutheran Church was established.
Lutheran Mission in Thailand was formed in 1980. Other than Norway and Finland, Hong Kong joined in.
Lutheran Church in Malaysia and Singapore (LCMS) joined in 1987.
There were nine churches with about 600 members at the moment (1991).

Anita of Hong Kong Lutheran Church was sent to Bangkok to serve God in 1988. She shared that the need was finance and manpower.

After lunch, with the colleagues from LMT head office, Kluay Nam Thai Church and Day Nursery, we visited the construction site of Lutheran Institute of Theological Education (LITE) in Soi 50. Missionary Pauli Rantanen explained to us the development.

We visited Lutheran Diakonia Ministry in Bangkok (LDMB). It was mainly for the women and children.
Home of Grace for the un-wedded mother was established in December 1987. There was a Scholarship project for school children from Kluay Nam Thai. There was also a plan to have a temporary nursery for construction workers' children.
