We went to Bintan Lagoon Resort for a 3-day trip on 19 November.
It has been a year since we visited this resort in November 2006.
We found that Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal was renovated.
When we arrived at the Resort, we found that the shops were
relocated and became a bigger shopping place. The workers
were changing the seats at the lobby when we arrived.
The difference between this trip and those in the past many years
was that we booked two guest rooms for our three-member family.
Solomon suggested he shared a room with me and his mother got her
own room.
Solomon is 14 years old. He has been to this resort since he was a
baby. This time, he did not ask to go to the Leisure Centre.
Instead, we went to the beach many times.
He is growing up. While we were together, he spoke up his mind.
He has the desire to taking care of us when he grows up. But he was
disappointed by his mother's negative thinking recently.
I encouraged him to be firm in his thoughts. I told him what the Bible
taught us, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
He should continue to have the positive thinking and keep praying
for his mother.
Thanks God that giving me the opportunity to be with Solomon
and to understand what was on his mind. God is great! I learned
how to love and care of Solomon with the help of God.
