The River Hongbao
2010

The River Hongbao 2010 was officially opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean on 12 February night.

Into its 24th year, River Hongbao will last throughout for 9 days from 12th to 20th February. It is held on The Float @ Marina Bay. The theme of this year's River Hongbao is 推成(都)促新(加坡)迎虎年 which means Welcoming the Year of the Tiger through promotion of Chengdu City to enhance the festivities in Singapore. There are plenty of Chengdu handicraft and souvenir, as well as snack.

The organisers included Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Singapore Press Holdings, Singapore Tourism Board and People's Association.
