Singapore River Hong Bao 2007 is to be held at
Esplanade Park
from 16th February to 4th March 2007.
Singapore River Hong Bao Festival is an
annual carnival during Chinese New Year.
It is the 21st year of celebration this year.
The organisers are Singapore
Federation of Chinese Clan Associations,
the Chinese press Lianhe Zaobao,
Lianhe Wanbao and Shin Ming Daily,
Singapore Tourist Board, Chinese
Chamber of Commerce and Industry and
People's Association.
This huge and lively fair features a large
variety of food, traditional arts and folklore from
ancient China.
This year you can experience the larger-than-life
re-creation of the Shenyang Imperial Palace,
captivate cultural performances, interactive giant drums,
thrilling carnival games and amusement rides,
and a Wishing Tree to make all your wishes come true!
