Chinese New Year in Chinatown, Singapore
Year 2007

The Light-up Ceremony for Chinese New Year 2007 was held at Chinatown on 27 January.

Although there was a light shower in the early afternoon, various performance groups were arrived after the rain at around 3 o'clock.

People gathered at Chinatown. Along Trengganu Street, Pagoda Street, Temple Street and Sago Street, crowds were at the Spring Festival Bazaar.

The Chinese New Year 2007 is on 18 February. The bazaar is on until 17 February, eve of the Chinese New Year. The Light-up in Chinatown will be ended on 4th March.
