The Singapore Flyer, a giant observation wheel, took its maiden flight on 11 February 2008 with 700 people on board.

It took more than four years to complete the $240 million project. The Singapore Flyer is set to be Asia's most visible iconic visitor attraction. It provides breathtaking, panoramic views of Singapore and beyond.

The 28 capsules of the Singapore Flyer are fitted with the latest cooling system, supported by a back-up air conditioning system and a solid roof. Each capsule has an interior space of 28 square metres, comfortably accommodating a maximum of 28 passengers. Duration of one ride is about 30 minutes. Passengers can experience the 360 view in the entire region at 165 metres above the ground.

Admission Prices: Adult S$29.50, Child S$20.65, Senior S$23.60


Each capsule measures 4 metres by 7 metres and

accommodates a maximum of 28 passengers.
